My Friends, 

Have you ever asked yourself why you’ve hit a standstill

within your spiritual growth? For some, it may be due to fear, inconsistency, poor time management or even sadly,

arrogance of thinking there’s no room for growth. As

believers, when we receive the Holy Spirit it continues to

dwell within us daily. However, that doesn’t mean there won’t be more required of us and that takes place throughout our journey. The more power we receive, the more assignments we walk into. 

There is a duty upon us to move past the upper room and step into where God has called us to fulfill his will. In Acts 1:8 it states “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”  In order for us to effectively witness, there needs to be growth and a shift within our boldness for God, our walk, our tongue and our faith. Our life must be a representation of God’s grace and power so that we declare the good news of Christ.  If God prepared his disciples, then he is also preparing you.

Don’t allow the enemy to fool you into being trapped in the comfort of your upper room. So brothers and sisters in Christ, allow today to be your reminder that if you’re going to do more in the kingdom, then you’ll need more power. As you walk in your purpose and power, have faith that if you can think it then there’s no question that God can do it. Speak Ephesians 3:20 over yourself each and everyday as a reminder that you have a back up plan but also you’re never alone. Now remove the limitations on your journey and put action into your walk with Christ.
