Heavenly Father we thank you for this glorious day. Let us shout and give your name total praise for you have blessed us with your love. You have blessed us with your mercy. Let us shout in the name of Jesus saying hallelujah for you have strengthened us when we were weak. You have guided us when we were lost. Let all who hear the sound of my voice Lord Jesus, be guided to you God. God we cannot take one step in this world without you. Let us recognize the importance of your Presence being a source of our very existence. That we cannot make way if our way isn’t through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That it is our Lord and Savior who has the key to open doors we have yet seen. That all we have to do is trust you, Jesus and you will make way and break down the fortresses of our enemies. That you will tear down all things that stand in our way to shield us from the enemy. That your Holy Name shall make us all bow because you are Holy. For if there is a shadow of a doubt in our minds, for a second, let that very doubt be a reminder that our Father has been with us for a lifetime. 

 

Let us take a look at our lives and be a true testimony to show the world the good news of Jesus Christ. Let us look at how we were once a child who too, learned how to walk. For we may have stumbled, but before we could speak, you blessed us with the ability to try again, as it was you who placed your hand on us as we took small baby steps. That it was you who placed a word on our lips as we spoke our first words. Let us look through the chapters of our lives to recognize that you placed The Holy Spirit on our lives to see us through. That when our parents corrected us to distinguish right and wrong, let us realize that it was You who had a hand on our lives long ago before we were able to recognize. Let us give thanks because I can remember my mother shouting joyous tears as she shouted your Holy Name as your sun beamed down on her as she washed dishes. That she showed me your Holy works as she shouted simply because she was able to rinse them clean. That I was a young boy when I witnessed the Holy Spirit come over my mother causing her to jump for joy. That I was only a child and time after time as I witnessed in awe, it made me realize even then to look to you. That even then I knew that I had a mother who prayed. That even then I had a mother who knew that our Father in Heaven will shepherd us through. That I saw the light of your Holiness at that very moment as she exalted your name with all her might. God let my words be a testimony to seeing your hand in our lives as I remember when I will call my grandmother and here your Holy Word even when she didn’t pick up. That she would say “today is the day, the Lord has made, Just for you and I”. That those words stuck with me forever. Let these very moments be used a remembrance of you, Lord Jesus. That right before our eyes, you put a blessing on each of our lives to be a witness to the good news of you, Lord Jesus. For you have poured so much into us, let us use our very bodies our very existence to be a testimony that you are here. That your Holy Spirit has been given to us before we were able to walk. That your Holy Spirit has been given to us before we were able to speak. 

 

Let us find ourselves by knowing that through our beginnings you were there. Let me use myself to spread the goodness of our God for I can remember as plain as day as child hearing “cast your burden on Jesus, for he cares for you”.  For as I child I sung “Higher Higher Lift, Jesus Higher Higher”. And that stuck with me. That as long as I am able that as long as I am growing to let me use my voice to say that Jesus we thank you for carrying each of us since the beginning. Let us lift you you higher and higher.  That you were there in our beginnings and you are here and over forevers. Let us share our inheritance with our children so that they may share their inheritance with their children so that we can all be filled with the joy of our Lord and Savior. Let us come together to bear witness to our Lord on this glorious day, because today and all days that the Lord has made are for you and I.   In Jesus Name!  Amen.
