Motto: "Called, Equipped & Committed to Serve"
As believers, we are passionate about reaching the lost and those in need, for the purpose
of transforming and empowering people to live the abundant life.
ABOUT

Workers in God’s Service, known as "WinGS, Inc.” is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit religious organization, which was organized in 2004. WinGS’ ultimate purpose is to advance the kingdom of God by equipping the saints for service, and the development of spiritual gifts.

Scripture: Isaiah 40:31
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Reverend Dianne Taybron Suggs
Pastor

Reverend Dianne Taybron Suggs is a native Carolinian and a product of the Durham Public School System. She is a graduate of United Christian College, where she earned a Bachelor of Theology Degree in Christian Education and Biblical Studies. Reverend Suggs served for many years as an instructor at United Christian College.
She is a practical preacher and teacher of the Word, with a message of hope and restoration. She is a soul winner and disciple for Christ, called by God to minister to the broken in spirit and those behind prison walls and couples; inspiring them to live balanced lives, being whole and complete in every area of their lives through the application of the Word of God.
Reverend Suggs is the founder of “Workers in God’s Service,” known as WinGS, Inc., birthed in 2004 as a Christian, faith-based non-profit organization. WinGS is a venue that promotes spiritual maturity, physical and emotional healing and the enhancement of the gift of serving through Evangelism and Community Outreach.
After many years of avoidance, she accepted her call to Pastorship and began conducting worship services in January 2017. WinGS Outreach and Worship is a non-denominational church.
Though her personal accomplishments, acknowledgements and awards are many, her ultimate desire is to be known and remembered as a woman with a heart to serve God and His people with a "Spirit of Excellence." With over twenty-five years of experience in the financial field, she has been granted many platforms to educate and instruct in the area of "Stewardship, as a way of Life."
Reverend Suggs' life reflects her message of completeness as she balances ministry responsibilities with her duties as a wife to Charles C. Suggs for over thirty years, mother of three and proud grandmother of five.
Scripture: Philippians 4:13
"I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”

BIBLE STUDY
Why is weekly Bible Study beneficial? Bible Study provides the foundation for your faith, gives you an avenue to ask questions and participate in discussions; but most importantly teaches you how to have a relationship with Christ and live a Christ-centered life.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Followers of Christ,
As believers, the choice of a water baptism marks a
significant moment in your spiritual journey with Christ. It
represents the day you demonstrate to the public your
declaration to live out your faith through your actions and lifestyle. The shift that transpires the moment you are submerged into the transforming water signifies the start of how the Holy Spirit renews us and orders our footsteps moving forward. As this takes place, there will be more responsibility that is required of you as you continue to follow Christ.
Too often, many brothers and sisters in Christ make the unfortunate mistake of allowing the enemy to keep them in bondage through their shortcomings and failures. Carry this with you today, your past mistakes will not prevent God from restoring you or using you for the good of his kingdom. Rest in the truth that you cannot test run God, he won’t allow you to pick him up and put him down when you feel it’s not working out. So don’t be misinformed that this walk or transition in Christ will be easy or take place overnight.
Salvation is a process, a beautiful one at that. But understand the first step was accepting him and declaring before God your intentions. Walk confidently, remembering everyday who you are in Christ and embracing who he has called you to be. As you enter this new week, don’t simply be a hearer of God’s Word, be a living reflection of it. Allow your faith to be evident in the way you speak, love, forgive, serve, and trust Him, even when the path ahead is uncertain. God is not calling you to perfection; He is calling you to obedience, faithfulness, and a heart that is willing to follow Him.
Respectfully Submitted,
Sis. Niya J. Montgomery

Heavenly Father, we realize that you can be challenging. Thank You for sending Jesus to be the ultimate example of following You, even to the point of giving His life. I know that Jesus suffered on this earth for our sake which gives us the courage to do the same with boldness. Father, living life to follow You means being selfless. Help us to remember the things of this world are temporary; and that there is a lasting reward in heaven. We know that you desire good things for your children. Help us to always remember your heart for us, when the world seems to fight for our attention and distract us from your will. Guide us to give you our all; to the calling that you have placed on our lives no matter the cost. Thank you for your love, your mercy, your goodness and your kindness. This I pray in Jesus’ Name! Amen.

Good morning, church family.
Today, we pause to honor and celebrate Juneteenth, a day that marks the official end of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation, enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, finally received the news that they were free. Juneteenth stands as a powerful reminder that freedom delayed is not freedom denied, and that God’s promises are always fulfilled in His perfect timing.
As Christians, Juneteenth is more than a historical observance, it is an opportunity to reflect on God’s faithfulness, justice, and deliverance. Throughout Scripture, we see God hearing the cries of His people and leading them out of bondage. Just as He delivered the Israelites from Egypt, He remained present with those who endured the unimaginable hardships of slavery, sustaining them through faith, hope, and perseverance.
Today, we honor the resilience, strength, and unwavering faith of our ancestors. Many found comfort in God’s Word, sang songs of hope in the midst of suffering, and trusted that one day freedom would come. Their courage and faith laid a foundation upon which generations continue to build.
Juneteenth also challenges us to remember that freedom is not merely the absence of chains, it is the presence of dignity, opportunity, justice, and love. As followers of Christ, we are called to be instruments of that love, working to uplift one another, bridge divides, and ensure that every person is treated as a child of God, created in His image.
Galatians 5:1 reminds us, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” While this scripture speaks of spiritual freedom in Christ, it also reminds us of the value and sacredness of freedom in every form.
As we celebrate Juneteenth, may we give thanks for the sacrifices of those who came before us, recommit ourselves to justice and unity, and trust in the God who continues to guide His people through every generation.
Let us never forget the journey, let us honor the legacy, and let us move forward together in faith, hope, and love.
Happy Juneteenth, and may God continue to bless us all. Amen.
