Workers in God’s Service, known as "WinGS, Inc.”  is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit religious organization, which was organized in 2004.  WinGS’ ultimate purpose is to advance the kingdom of God by equipping the saints for service, and the development of spiritual gifts.

Reverend Dianne Taybron Suggs

Reverend Dianne Taybron Suggs is a native Carolinian and a product of the Durham Public School System.  She is a graduate of United Christian College, where she earned a Bachelor of Theology Degree in Christian Education and Biblical Studies. Reverend Suggs served for many years as an instructor at United Christian College.

She is a practical preacher and teacher of the Word, with a message of hope and restoration.  She is a soul winner and disciple for Christ, called by God to minister to the broken in spirit and those behind prison walls.

Reverend Suggs is the founder of “Workers in God’s Service,” known as WinGS, Inc., birthed in 2004 as a Christian, faith-based non-profit organization.  WinGS is a venue that promotes spiritual maturity, physical and emotional healing and the enhancement of the gift of serving through Evangelism and Community Outreach.

After many years of avoidance, she accepted her call to Pastorship and began conducting worship services in January 2017.  WinGS Outreach and Worship is a non-denominational church.

Though her personal accomplishments, acknowledgements and awards are many, her ultimate desire is to be known and remembered as a woman with a heart to serve God and His people with a "Spirit of Excellence."  With over twenty-five years of experience in the financial field, she has been granted many platforms to educate and instruct in the area of "Stewardship, as a way of Life."

Reverend Suggs' life reflects her message of completeness as she balances ministry responsibilities with her duties as a wife to Charles C. Suggs for over thirty years, mother of three and proud grandmother of five.

Scripture:  Philippians 4:13

"I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”

WinGS Outreach & Worship Church Service: Sunday 9:30 am       Bible Study Monday 6:30 - 8:00 pm

Why is weekly Bible Study beneficial?  Bible Study provides the foundation for your faith, gives you an avenue to ask questions and participate in discussions; but most importantly teaches you how to have a relationship with Christ and live a Christ-centered life.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Weekly Notes

''God's Transforming Power"

Greetings Fellow Believers,

James 2:23 says, “And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham  believed in God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.”

The phrase “no new friends” is a popular commentary in our generation when it comes to forming new relationships with people. Oftentimes, people tend to stick with their friends they’ve known for years and the ones who have been through thick and thin with them. However, the length of a relationship does NOT determine if these so-called "friendships" are beneficial or individuals equally yoked. As believers, sometimes the transition within our journey with Christ requires us to clean up our friendship group. It may be hard to realize or admit but everyone around us isn't always our friend. Some are simply place holders in our lives because of our fear of being alone or being deemed as switching up on the people we've known before our journey with Christ.

For friendships and relationships to last there must be trust and truthfulness. Ultimately, there can be no friendship where there is no trust. Those individuals who you hang out with on the weekend but would never tell your inner most, darkest secrets are NOT your friends; they are simply associates. That person who you can’t see doing wrong to everyone else around them, yet you still have faith that they won’t turn on you too is not your friend. Those people who only call and check in on you when they need something are not your friends.

As we grow as a believer, sometimes we forget that a fresh start may also mean our friend group as well. While we are in the midst of stepping away from past friendships and relationships, we must not forget God is a friend that can be trusted. When we think we have no one else, we always have him as our true BFF. God will never lead us astray, lie to us or backstab us. In fact, he will be your shoulder to cry on, pick you up when you fall and supply your every need. We must not get so caught up in worldly friendships that we lose sight of who our ultimate friend is. Good lasting friendships take time whether it means with God or your peers.

In closing, remember to not attach yourself to individuals who truly do not value your spirit or friendship, because ultimately you will always have a dear friend in God.

                           Respectively Submitted,

                                Sis. Niya J. Montgomery

01-03-23 Prayers changes everything.png
Father, help us to remember the words from Ecclesiastes 4:9-10; “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.” Father, I pray that you will send those into our lives that will encourage, undergird, and will hold us to be accountable to God’s word, His will, and His ways. And I pray that we will not be deceived by the enemy but remember that you are truly a friend worth having. This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
