Workers in God’s Service, known as "WinGS, Inc.”  is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit religious organization, which was organized in 2004.  WinGS’ ultimate purpose is to advance the kingdom of God by equipping the saints for service, and the development of spiritual gifts.

Scripture:  Isaiah 40:31

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

WinGS Outreach & Worship Church Service: Sunday 9:30 am       Bible Study Monday 6:30 - 8:00 pm

Reverend Dianne Taybron Suggs

Pastor

Reverend Dianne Taybron Suggs is a native Carolinian and a product of the Durham Public School System.  She is a graduate of United Christian College, where she earned a Bachelor of Theology Degree in Christian Education and Biblical Studies. Reverend Suggs served for many years as an instructor at United Christian College.

She is a practical preacher and teacher of the Word, with a message of hope and restoration.  She is a soul winner and disciple for Christ, called by God to minister to the broken in spirit and those behind prison walls.

Reverend Suggs is the founder of “Workers in God’s Service,” known as WinGS, Inc., birthed in 2004 as a Christian, faith-based non-profit organization.  WinGS is a venue that promotes spiritual maturity, physical and emotional healing and the enhancement of the gift of serving through Evangelism and Community Outreach.

After many years of avoidance, she accepted her call to Pastorship and began conducting worship services in January 2017.  WinGS Outreach and Worship is a non-denominational church.

Though her personal accomplishments, acknowledgements and awards are many, her ultimate desire is to be known and remembered as a woman with a heart to serve God and His people with a "Spirit of Excellence."  With over twenty-five years of experience in the financial field, she has been granted many platforms to educate and instruct in the area of "Stewardship, as a way of Life."

Reverend Suggs' life reflects her message of completeness as she balances ministry responsibilities with her duties as a wife to Charles C. Suggs for over thirty years, mother of three and proud grandmother of five.

Scripture:  Philippians 4:13

"I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”

BIBLE STUDY

Why is weekly Bible Study beneficial?  Bible Study provides the foundation for your faith, gives you an avenue to ask questions and participate in discussions; but most importantly teaches you how to have a relationship with Christ and live a Christ-centered life.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

February 15, 2026 Weekly Notes

_______________________________________________________________________

02-15-22 pray.jpg

What do you do when life feels heavy, injustice feels loud, and

all you can pray is, “Lord see us?” In Lamentations 5:1-5, 19,

the author many have attributed to Jeremiah, found himself in

this very state as he prayed pleading to God to hear and see

his people. During times of disparity, many fellow believers may have experienced this same sense of defeatedness along their journey. However, how often have you truly admitted that your own actions were the main cause of your chaos?

The sins, rebellion and disobedience of his people caused them to endure pain, suffering and total losses. As we reflect on culture today, we live in a society that deflects from accountability. It’s easier to question why God left us in the storm rather than analyze what we did to get us into the storm when God has already given us the upcoming weather forecast. When we as the body of Christ refuse to obey God we are forced to live with the fruits of our choices and actions.

Nevertheless, the chapter depicts not just the suffering but the pleas for repentance and God’s restoration. Fellow brothers and sisters, allow this to be your reminder to never find yourself so caught up in the program that you forget to humble yourself before God. In the midst of our suffering, he has proven he continues to reign as king and is the only one who can make us whole again. Our Lord is one who restores and empowers and there are some things that truly only he can do but in order for him to make a way, he needs us to cry out to him as demonstration that we’ve seen his works. Understand that it still takes faith and in spite of the enemy, God can still do all things.

Respectfully,

Sis. Niya J. Montgomery

Heavenly Father, It is our prayer that you grant us a heart of repentance daily. Remind us where our help comes from but most importantly how things shift into place when we surrender to you. Don’t allow us to be stagnant in our brokenness nor suffering but bless us with a humble heart that is willing to cry out to you not just in times of despair. Lord, you continue to reign as king each and every day and may your spirit overflow amongst us, your people ever the more. In Jesus name, Amen!

02-01-26 Black History Month Banner.jpg

Welcome to Wings Outreach Worship Church’s

first Black History segment of 2026.

Today, as we honor Black history, we pause to remember the voices that told our story when so many tried to silence it. As we demonstrated last Sunday poetry has always been a way for truth to survive carrying pain, faith, and hope from one generation to the next.

Our first poem reflects the deep sorrow and loss experienced during slavery, reminding us of families torn apart and love tested under unimaginable cruelty.

Our second poem speaks to perseverance, encouraging courage, faith, and trust that even in the darkest moments, God is still at work.

As you listen, may these words move your heart, stir your spirit, and remind us of the strength that has always lived within our people.

The Slave Auction By: Frances Ellen Watkins Harper

The sale began—young girls were there,   Defenseless in their wretchedness, Whose stifled sobs of deep despair  Revealed their anguish and distress.

And mothers stood, with streaming eyes,

And saw their dearest children sold;

Unheeded rose their bitter cries,

While tyrants bartered them for gold.

And woman, with her love and truth— For these in sable forms may dwell— Gazed on the husband of her youth,

With anguish none may paint or tell.

And men, whose sole crime was their hue, The impress of their Maker’s hand,

And frail and shrinking children too, Were gathered in that mournful band.

Ye who have laid your loved to rest, And wept above their lifeless clay,

Know not the anguish of that breast, Whose loved are rudely torn away.

Ye may not know how desolate

Are bosoms rudely forced to part,

And how a dull and heavy weight Will press the life-drops from the heart.

Sonnet By James Weldon Johnson

My heart be brave, and do not falter so,

Nor utter more that deep, despairing wail.

Thy way is very dark and drear I know,

But do not let thy strength and courage fail;

For certain as the raven-winged night

Is followed by the bright and blushing morn,

Thy coming morrow will be clear and bright;

’Tis darkest when the night is furthest worn.

Look up, and out, beyond, surrounding clouds,

And do not in thine own gross darkness grope,

Rise up, and casting off thy hind’ring shrouds,

Cling thou to this, and ever inspiring hope:

Tho’ thick the battle and tho’ fierce the fight,

There is a power making for the right.
