Motto: "Called, Equipped & Committed to Serve"
As believers, we are passionate about reaching the lost and those in need, for the purpose
of transforming and empowering people to live the abundant life.
ABOUT

Workers in God’s Service, known as "WinGS, Inc.” is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit religious organization, which was organized in 2004. WinGS’ ultimate purpose is to advance the kingdom of God by equipping the saints for service, and the development of spiritual gifts.

Scripture: Isaiah 40:31
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
WinGS Outreach & Worship Church Service: Sunday 9:30 am Bible Study Monday 6:30 - 8:00 pm
Reverend Dianne Taybron Suggs
Pastor

Reverend Dianne Taybron Suggs is a native Carolinian and a product of the Durham Public School System. She is a graduate of United Christian College, where she earned a Bachelor of Theology Degree in Christian Education and Biblical Studies. Reverend Suggs served for many years as an instructor at United Christian College.
She is a practical preacher and teacher of the Word, with a message of hope and restoration. She is a soul winner and disciple for Christ, called by God to minister to the broken in spirit and those behind prison walls.
Reverend Suggs is the founder of “Workers in God’s Service,” known as WinGS, Inc., birthed in 2004 as a Christian, faith-based non-profit organization. WinGS is a venue that promotes spiritual maturity, physical and emotional healing and the enhancement of the gift of serving through Evangelism and Community Outreach.
After many years of avoidance, she accepted her call to Pastorship and began conducting worship services in January 2017. WinGS Outreach and Worship is a non-denominational church.
Though her personal accomplishments, acknowledgements and awards are many, her ultimate desire is to be known and remembered as a woman with a heart to serve God and His people with a "Spirit of Excellence." With over twenty-five years of experience in the financial field, she has been granted many platforms to educate and instruct in the area of "Stewardship, as a way of Life."
Reverend Suggs' life reflects her message of completeness as she balances ministry responsibilities with her duties as a wife to Charles C. Suggs for over thirty years, mother of three and proud grandmother of five.
Scripture: Philippians 4:13
"I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”

BIBLE STUDY
Why is weekly Bible Study beneficial? Bible Study provides the foundation for your faith, gives you an avenue to ask questions and participate in discussions; but most importantly teaches you how to have a relationship with Christ and live a Christ-centered life.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Believers,What if I told you that love, by itself, is not enough to livethe Christian life? Oftentimes, as believers, there’s amisconception that as long as we love our neighbors and Godthat’s all it requires to be “good Christians.” However, we’re all well aware we won’t enter the kingdom of heaven simply by our good deeds and works. In Philippians 1:9-11 Paul shares his heartfelt desire that the believer's love grows in knowledge which will allow them to excel in righteousness and remain pure.To be clear, Paul is not praying for the believer's self righteousness, nor for knowledge that leads to arrogance or pride. Rather, his prayer is for spiritual discernment, a love that is edified, rooted in truth and aligned with God’s priorities. As children of God, we must understand that he is a loving father and a God of correction and he does so out of love. We are reminded of this truth in Hebrews 12:6 which states “because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.” This discipline strengthens our walk with Christ and urges us to continue to apply the word of God to our daily lives.Beloved in Christ, let us continue to pray earnestly while strengthening our walk by cultivating a love that abounds, one filled with knowledge not arrogance and a desire for purity not perfection. Rather than focusing on the past, the “what if’s” and the mishaps along the journey, let us look ahead with a future oriented love. God calls us to have our eyes fixed on what’s ahead, not linger on what we have already been called to move past.
Respectfully Submitted,
Sis. Niya J. Montgomery

Gracious and loving God, we come before you this day with grateful hearts, thankful for the gift of this time and for the blessing of gathering in your presence. You are our Creator, our Sustainer, and our Redeemer, and we praise you for your faithfulness and love.
As we begin this time of worship, we ask that you would quiet our hearts and focus our minds on you. Help us to set aside the concerns and distractions of the week, that we may listen for your voice and open ourselves to your Spirit. May this place be filled with your peace, and may all that we do bring glory to your name.
Prepare us now to worship you in spirit and in truth. Open our hearts to receive your Word, shape us by your grace, and draw us closer to you and to one another. May our songs, our prayers, and our praise rise as an offering pleasing to you. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Welcome to Wings Outreach Worship Church’s
first Black History segment of 2026.
This year may have begun as a season of the unexpected for some, but for many within our communities, we have entered a year of overflow.
Black history is often introduced through pain but rarely through its innovation, resilience, and global impact. Long before civil rights laws existed, Black Americans were building hospitals, exploring the Arctic, pioneering space science and creating wealth in communities that history later attempted to erase.
Although some may feel that our current leaders are trying to strip away what we have worked so earnestly to build, we must remember that we serve a God who sits high and looks low. No matter how much anyone attempts to infiltrate, duplicate, or diminish us, you cannot steal God-given gifts and expect to use them with excellence or for wickedness.
As we prepare to gain more knowledge and connect more deeply with our history, let this be your reminder: never allow what the enemy tries to tell you about who you are or what you’ve done to overshadow what God has already shown you that He has plans for you, and purpose yet to be fulfilled.

READER: Tori ~ Fannie Lou Hamer
I was born on October 6th, 1917, in Montgomery County, Mississippi. I was the 20th and last child to my sharecropper parents, being born into poverty I began picking cotton at the age of six. Upon turning twelve I left school in order to work to assist contributing to my family.
I married my husband in 1944 at the age of 27. We toiled the Mississippi owned by W.D Marlow together until 1962. I served as plantation timekeeper as I was the only worker with the ability to read and write.
In 1961 I received a hysterectomy without my consent while undergoing surgery to remove a uterine tumor. This sparked the beginning of me utilizing my voice to demand to be heard and I later adopted two daughters.
I later became organizer of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee and in 1962 led 17 volunteers to register to vote at the Indianola, Mississippi courthouse.
In 1963 myself and several other black women were arrested after completing a voters registration program for sitting at a “whites-only” bus station restaurant, where I was brutally beaten in the jailhouse leaving me with a blood clot in my eye, kidney damage and leg damage.
In 1964 I co-founded the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party which challenged the local Democratic Party’s efforts to block black participation. I also helped organize Freedom Summer which brought hundreds of college students to help with African American voter registration in the segregated south. That same year, I announced my candidacy for Mississippi House of Representatives but was barred from the ballot. A year later I became the first Black woman to stand in the U.S Congress for protesting the Mississippi House election of 1964.
In 1968 I expanded my interest in creating a “pig bank” to provide free pigs for Black farmers to breed, raise, and slaughter, and a year later launched the Freedom Farm Cooperative which purchased land for African Americans to own and farm collectively.
In 1971 I assisted in founding the National Women’s Political Caucus. After years of my political and community ties, my health began to decline and I unfortunately passed in 1977 due to breast cancer.
My name is Fannie Lou Hamer and my efforts and story paved the way for many African American women’s political voices to come.
