ABOUT

Workers in God’s Service, known as "WinGS, Inc.” is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit religious organization, which was organized in 2004. WinGS’ ultimate purpose is to advance the kingdom of God by equipping the saints for service, and the development of spiritual gifts.

Scripture: Isaiah 40:31
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Reverend Dianne Taybron Suggs
Pastor

Reverend Dianne Taybron Suggs is a native Carolinian and a product of the Durham Public School System. She is a graduate of United Christian College, where she earned a Bachelor of Theology Degree in Christian Education and Biblical Studies. Reverend Suggs served for many years as an instructor at United Christian College.
She is a practical preacher and teacher of the Word, with a message of hope and restoration. She is a soul winner and disciple for Christ, called by God to minister to the broken in spirit and those behind prison walls.
Reverend Suggs is the founder of “Workers in God’s Service,” known as WinGS, Inc., birthed in 2004 as a Christian, faith-based non-profit organization. WinGS is a venue that promotes spiritual maturity, physical and emotional healing and the enhancement of the gift of serving through Evangelism and Community Outreach.
After many years of avoidance, she accepted her call to Pastorship and began conducting worship services in January 2017. WinGS Outreach and Worship is a non-denominational church.
Though her personal accomplishments, acknowledgements and awards are many, her ultimate desire is to be known and remembered as a woman with a heart to serve God and His people with a "Spirit of Excellence." With over twenty-five years of experience in the financial field, she has been granted many platforms to educate and instruct in the area of "Stewardship, as a way of Life."
Reverend Suggs' life reflects her message of completeness as she balances ministry responsibilities with her duties as a wife to Charles C. Suggs for over thirty years, mother of three and proud grandmother of five.
Scripture: Philippians 4:13
"I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”

Christians,
Being content in today’s world is difficult with so much anger,
hate, injustice, and corruption around us. It can feel
discouraging when it seems like evil keeps finding new lows.
Yet God calls us to be content in all circumstances, even when the world feels chaotic. Contentment isn’t pretending things are okay; it is choosing to trust God in the middle of what’s not okay. Our peace isn’t rooted in what’s happening around us, but in who God is.
Paul’s thorn in the flesh reminds us that hardship and weakness are sometimes allowed by God for a purpose. Just like a real thorn hurts, our struggles cause discomfort and make us want relief. But when God says no to removing something, it doesn’t mean He is absent or uncaring. His grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in our weakness. The thorn keeps us humble and dependent on God instead of our own strength.
Overflowing contentment comes when we trust that God knows what we need better than we do. Our weaknesses draw us closer to Him and teaches us to rely on His strength. Rather than murmuring and complaining, we are called to walk with God through our circumstances, believing He is working for our good and His glory. When we are weak, then we are strong because God is more than enough.
Humbly,
Bro. Dayshon Bynum

Heavenly Father, we rejoice in your holy name on this glorious day you’ve made. Your grace is upon us each and every day of our lives. Your mercy is a fiery beacon that shines through our lives on a constant. Each and every day shall be a testimony of your everlasting love. So let us come together on this beloved day, shouting your name to the heavens, Father God. For you are our protector. You have shielded us in times of crisis. You clothed us with your holy garments, providing us the warmth we needed as we made our way through moments we may have found chilling. You are our replenisher. Time and time again you have found a way out of what we may have thought was no way at all; providing us resources time after time and illuminating our paths towards your glory even if we might have felt complacent. If I could say so myself, when looking back at where I’ve been and where I’m going, it raises the hairs all over my body to know that I am because of all of what you are, Lord Jesus.
We are because of all of that you are. You are the reason for each and everyone one of us and just saying that out loud is far more compelling than I think we can some times imagine. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has provided for us before we knew ourselves. You have brought each and every one of us out of places and spaces we may have thought we couldn’t make it through. But you, Heavenly Father are the very reason for all things holy. Your Presence deserves praise to the highest degree. You have breathed into us to be exemplified by the grace you’ve laid upon us. You have equipped us with everlasting purpose, so if I could use my words to touch a weary heart, I ask that you use me as an example to say that we are enough. Let me say wholeheartedly and with encouragement that you are enough, because the Lord Jesus Christ has made it rightfully so. When your knees may feel as if they’re buckling because of the stress this world has placed us under, let the goodness of God flow through you to allow you to recognize that you, Heavenly Father, are enough. If you might be wondering where your next big break is coming through, remind yourself that our powerful God has brought us to where we needed to be time and time again because you are enough. When you may have felt as though there are so many things that withers your spirit, take a step back and reach for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and let Him be a reminder that you are enough. He has placed you here for a reason; for a purpose that at that moment may be beyond you. I ask that you look in retrospect at the magnitudes of all that you are because of all that He is. I ask that when things are heavy to not take that lightly. God lay a message within our spirits that we shall not take the air in which you’ve breathed in us lightly; for at the very moment we were conceived, we had a purpose.
A duty. A reason. And in that very reason you placed a seed in us that was bound to grow. You placed your holy Word upon us that provided us with a forever reason to serve you. I pray and I rejoice on this glorious day to emphasize your purpose. To let your light shine upon us. For if we continue to look to you, those paths are brightened by the goodness of our amazing Savior. So I say hallelujah to all of us being enough. Let us not take for granted the seed that you have planted in us. Let us water that seed with your love. Love on us so we can grow and use our branches to extend the limbs of ourselves to touch someone by saying you are enough. Let us look at our reflections and think about our past, future and present saying you are enough. Let us look to our children and our children’s children saying that you are enough. Let us see someone who may be down and need encouragement by saying you are enough. Our Father in Heaven has breathed His very breath into our bodies, and we are still here; so let us use those very bodies as vessels to remember the word of the Lord... that His blood has covered us in ways that we have not yet seen. We are testimonies of God’s truth and His purpose. Let us not take that for granted, but water the very seed that He has planted. Emphasize that you are wonderfully made and crafted by our Heavenly Father. God set a reminder in their hearts not to take that lightly. Remind us to savor our sweet anointing. For you have carried us through and through. Let the sound of your Holy Spirit set a fire and a reminder in us that illuminates the world around us; showing the brighter days to come. Let the glory of the Lord shine through us, so we can water the seed that is planted for our purpose. Amen.

Welcome to Wings Outreach Worship Church’s
first Black History segment of 2026.
Good morning, and welcome once again to Wings Outreach Worship Church as we continue honoring Black History.
Black history is not confined to a single month, it is woven into every generation, every prayer prayed in faith, and every step taken in perseverance. While the world often highlights our struggle, God has always highlighted our strength. Even in seasons of restriction, God has allowed our people to produce vision, culture, leadership, and truth that has shaped nations.
Our history did not begin in chains, and it does not end in limitation. It lives in creativity, in courage, and in the undeniable calling placed on a people who have always found a way to rise. When the world tried to silence us, we sang. When it tried to erase us, we wrote. When it tried to define us, we created.
Today, we will experience Black history through poetry, form of expression that has long been our language of survival, celebration, and spiritual resistance. Poetry has given voice to what could not always be spoken freely, and it has reminded us that God’s hand has never left our story.
As you listen, I invite you to not only hear the words, but to feel the legacy, the faith, and the future being spoken into existence.

Mother To Son By: Langston Hughe
Well, son, I’ll tell you: Life for me ain’t been no crystal stair. It’s had tacks in
it, And splinters, And boards torn up, And places with no carpet on the
floor—
Bare; But all the time I’se been a’climbin’ on, And reachin’ landin’s, And
turnin’ corners, And sometimes goin’ in the dark, Where there ain’t been
no light. So boy, don’t you turn back; Don’t you sit down on the steps,
’Cause you finds it’s kinder hard; Don’t you fall now—
For I’se still goin’, honey, I’se still climbin’, And life for me ain’t been no
crystal stair.
For Trayvon Martin By: Ruben Jackson
Instead of sleeping—
I walk with him from the store. No Skittles, thank you. We do not talk much—
Sneakers crossing the courtyard. Humid Southern night. We shake hands and hug—
Ancient, stoic tenderness. I nod to the moon.
I’m so old school—
I hang till the latch clicks like. An unloaded gun. As we come to the close of this Black History segment, let us take a moment to reflect on what has been poured out through these poems.
What we have witnessed today is more than performance, it is testimony. It is evidence that our history is alive, still speaking, still breathing, and still moving forward under the direction of God. Through every line and every rhythm, we were reminded that our voices matter and that our stories are sacred.
In a time when narratives are challenged and truths are questioned, let us remember this: what God has established cannot be undone. The same God who carried our ancestors through uncertainty is the same God who continues to order our steps today.
May we leave this moment encouraged to walk boldly in who we are, confident in whose we are, and committed to preserving the truth of our history—not just in word, but in action.
Thank you for joining us in honoring the past, celebrating the present, and trusting God for what is still to come.
