Heavenly Father we thank you for this glorious day. We give you total praise as we gather here today. Let us bask in the spirit of our Holy Father, giving the utmost praise for all that is you, Father God. Let us serenade in the name of you, Lord Jesus. Let us all spread joy in the world as today we celebrate such a wonderful day your blessed hands have provided. Let us uplift our fathers here on earth and let us remember and honor those at rest. Let us speak life into our fathers who are doing their best. God I ask that you let your love be shined on them like your morning sun. 

 

Let us speak life into our fathers who are under the sound of my voice that they are honored. Set a reminder in their hearts that they are loved and appreciated. Let it be known that you have been there since the beginning. That although things may not have always been what they might have intended, you have fathered the fathers and the fatherless. That your hand has always been a guide to them as they have walked their journeys, leading families, and taking care of their children and displaying your compassion. That you have blessed them with provision, you have given them resources for your blessings to overflow on to their children in ways that I as a child couldn’t recognize until you opened my eyes to see. That had my father in heaven not blessed me with my father, I would not be the man I am today. I will not be able to witness the good works of the Lord. For I am forever thankful Father God, for all of whom you’ve connected me with because I see the true meaning of what it means to be a father from you and all of the fathers I’ve encountered throughout my span of life. 

 

If I could say anything to all of the fathers that may hear my voice and who this gets to, and although I don’t know each and every single circumstance or situation you may have encountered, I say graciously from the bottom of my heart that I thank God for you all. For each and every one of you helped God do a wonderful thing and it is astonishing to watch all of your children blossom into someone so beautiful. I say thank you to the Fathers for all that you do for had it not been for you, we would not be gathered in this room today to celebrate this glorious day. I say thank you to the fathers because you exemplify purpose. You exemplify God’s grace in ways that you may not fathom. God I ask that you allow today to be a breath of fresh air. A day for our fathers to see God’s limbs extend like the branches as we all share the fruits of all of who our Father in Heaven created. God I ask that you set a reminder in our hearts to love our fathers on this precious day. God I ask that you examine each and every one of hearts and soften them to provide our fathers with the utmost love. 

 

And God I also ask that you touch the hearts of those who need your love in all ways for those who resonate with this day differently, let them know that their fathers help instill in them something that’s so profound, something purposeful. Remind them that you have them covered. Soften their hearts so that they know that you are forever able and that you are a healer. A provider. And a loving God that can do all things unimaginable. So God let your mighty hand be rested on us today. God allow us to spread the joy of all our fathers as we glorify our in heaven! In Jesus’ Name! Amen.
